What makes our assessments stand out?

Our assessments are all administered trhough the Mindconnect online platform which means they can be completed from the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you. You will then receive a comprehensive report, no more than 48 hours after the completion of the assessments, detailing the results and recommendations. A comprehensive "Find Your Purpose" workbook is also included which is designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of your test results. This workbook will guide you in interpreting how your aptitude profile impacts your career path and personal development, providing a truly holistic view of your potential.

Test battery

The following test materials are used in the online assessment and are carefully selected, based on current age and grade level:

  • Aptitude: Differential Aptitude Tests (DAT S/L) to identify cognitive strengths.

  • Interests: SA Vocational Interest Inventory (SAVII), Career Development Questionnaire and 23 Field Interest Questionnaire.

  • Values: Values Scale (VS)

  • Personality & Study Habits: Jung Personality Questionnaire (JPQ) and the Survey of Study Habits and Attitudes (SSHA).

All of the test materials above are valid and reliable standardized tests, approved by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). The test materials can be administered from Grade 8/Grade 9 level (14 years of age) up to tertiary level students. Tests are carefully selected based on the student's age and grade level.

The cost of an online aptitude or career assessment is R 950, which includes a comprehensive report and our career guidance workbook.

The cost of the assessment can be claimed back from medical aid, depending on your scheme. Ask about an invoice that can be submitted to your medical aid and we will send you one, once you provide us with your medical aid details.
